Our Guest House Is Operating As Usual Chapter 9
Chapter 9
A vast snowfield stretched out before my eyes. Under the blue sky, everything was covered in pure white snow, and beyond the distant hills lay a dense coniferous forest.
How could anyone build a house and live in a place like this?
Contrary to my surprised mind, my body seemed familiar with the place, taking steps forward. With each step, my feet sank deep into the snow.
For the first time, human footprints were imprinted on the untouched, pristine path, and the crunching sound of footsteps echoed through the silent mountains.
'Ugh, it's cold.'
The air, more chilling than cool, filled my lungs. My fingertips gradually turned red, and my feet grew numb. My body, weak against the cold, trembled slightly, but a smile remained on my face as if I was enjoying it.
How long had I walked like that? Cheong- yeon smiled brightly. The figure of the man he had been waiting for was approaching.
The man in white clothes blended perfectly into the snowy mountain landscape. But for Cheong-yeon, finding him was not difficult at all.
"Si-rang!"
My mouth opened, and a voice came out on its own.
Hearing the voice, the man looked up. His sharply drawn eyes on his snow-white face widened as he spotted Cheong-yeon.
Without hesitation, he rushed over.
Seeing his face up close, Cheong-yeon couldn't help but be amazed. It was as if a god had carved him out of ice, or he himself looked like a god. He exuded a strong and elegant aura, making me wonder if he was the guardian spirit of this mountain.
"Why did you come out in the cold?"
The man took off his outer garment and draped it over Cheong-yeon's shoulders. The white coat, like him, smelled of cool winter air.
"I missed you, so I came to meet you."
'What? Missed you?'
I was confused by the words that came out of my own mouth. Missed him? Had I ever said such a thing to a man my age?
But the joy that filled my heart could not be a lie. I was happy and affectionate to see him.
"Your medicine?"
"I was waiting for you to come so I could take it. You have to take care of me. Don't you?"
At Cheong-yeon's brazen words, the man sighed with a hardened expression and said,
"Let's go inside. You'll catch a cold."
"I want to stay a little longer. The snow is pretty."
"You suffered so much last time when you were sick."
His expression and tone were blunt, but his eyes were full of concern. My heart seemed to melt at that fleeting glance.
'What is this? Are we lovers?'
No matter how I thought about it, these weren't the kind of feelings you'd have between simple friends.
Soon after, the man confirmed my confusing assumptions. His hand carefully wrapped around Cheong-yeon's shoulder, and his cold lips pressed firmly on my forehead.
'Wait a minute. He's gay too....'
I had possessed a BL world, but I had never thought about this. Dating a man. But maybe because I was in Cheong-yeon's body, it didn't feel unpleasant at all.
He took his lips away, brushed Cheong-yeon's bangs aside, and said,
"Let's go."
"What are you going to do with me inside that you're in such a hurry?"
My mouth was running wild against my will. I swear, I really didn't want to say those
words.
The man blushed without a word. With the blush rising on his unreal face, he finally looked human.
His appearance was so lovely that Cheong- yeon hugged him. Or rather, I was hugged. He was much taller and bigger than me, after all.
"Huh? What are you going to do?"
"I don't know...."
"What were you thinking that made your face so red?"
"Stop teasing me."
Cheong-yeon smiled sheepishly and let him
go.
"Okay. Let's go in. I'll let you do whatever you want."
".......”
The man was embarrassed but held Cheong- yeon's hand tightly.
Back on the path through the snowfield, the two people's hands were tightly clasped, sharing each other's warmth.
"But you know, Si-rang."
"Yeah."
"Seeing you walking from afar, you were really white. Your face is white, your clothes are white. If you didn't have hair, I wouldn't have recognized you buried in the snow. How about shaving your head? Like a kind of camouflage."
"Say something that makes sense."
"Why? You'd still be handsome even if you shaved your head and became a monk. I'm not just saying that."
Si-rang chuckled and shook his head.
"They say wild animals use protective coloring to protect themselves. That's what you're doing. It would be easier to
camouflage if you took off all your clothes... Ah, never mind."
“.......”
"Okay. Keep your clothes on. No matter how good your body is, it's not right to strip you naked in the snow. I don't really like doing it outside either."
"Shut your mouth."
Cheong-yeon was chattering non-stop. It was truly a festival of nonsense.
In the original work, Yoo Cheong-yeon was clearly a loner with few words and no friends. But why is he so seductive?
After talking for a while, Cheong-yeon soon felt his stamina running out. A tingling pain spread in his chest, and his body shivered and felt cold.
As the chatter stopped abruptly, Si-rang, who had been silently looking ahead, turned his gaze to Cheong-yeon. The moment he
found his face pale and bloodless, his steps stopped.
"You...."
"I'm okay. It's because I didn't take my medicine."
Cheong-yeon stopped, resting his hands on his knees, and took a moment to catch his breath. I thought it would be okay to walk this much, but I guess the cold was the problem. He tried to smile as if nothing was wrong at Si-rang's gaze fixed on him.
"Why, why are you looking at me like that? Do you like me that much?"
“......”
"You like me so much that it's a problem...."
"Stay still."
"Huh? Uh-oh? What are you doing!"
Si-rang grabbed Cheong-yeon's waist and thighs and lifted him up. His firm arms stably supported the adult man's body.
Surprised, Cheong-yeon hugged his neck without realizing it. He had ended up being held like a princess.
"Why all of a sudden...."
"Be quiet. Save your strength."
“.........”
The steps moving with Cheong-yeon in his arms were surprisingly fast. Even though he wasn't running, the surrounding scenery whizzed by. So all this time, he had been matching Cheong-yeon's slow pace.
Cheong-yeon, who had gained a new
realization, shut his mouth tightly.
Soon, the world spun around, and the scene changed.
Arriving home, Cheong-yeon threw off his snow-soaked clothes and slipped into bed. He lay on the bed, following the back of Si- rang, who was brewing medicine, with his eyes. The wide back wriggling in line with his graceful movements pleased the eye.
He put the medicine in a bowl and brought it to the bed.
"Drink it before it gets cold."
Cheong-yeon blew on the hot liquid and swallowed a mouthful. As he put down the bowl with the remaining medicine, Si-rang's brow furrowed.
"It's hot."
“.......”
"Ah, I know. I'll drink it."
Only after he had emptied all the medicine did he clear away the empty bowl.
While watching Si-rang, who still didn't look good, a good idea came to Cheong-yeon's
mind. He stretched out on the bed and squeezed out the most pitiful voice possible.
"I'm still cold. I feel cold even in the blanket. Why am I so cold?"
"I told you not to wander around."
"I'm going to catch a cold like this. Oh, it's cold."
“......."
"It would be so warm if someone came into the blanket and hugged me. Right?”
When I lifted the blanket I was wrapped in, my body with not a single thread on it was revealed. Si-rang's face immediately flushed at the sight.
Cheong-yeon chuckled inwardly. What could be more enjoyable than watching his reaction?
"I guess no one's coming in. Oh well, too bad. Then I have no choice but to keep shivering in the cold."
As Cheong-yeon tried to cover himself with the blanket again, Si-rang hurriedly grabbed his wrist.
"Why? Do you have something to do?"
"You really...."
"Do you want to come in?"
Now, with a face that was so red it looked like it was about to explode, he slowly nodded, and Cheong-yeon gave a victorious smile.
"Then come in quickly. Warm me up. Ah, wait a minute! You have to take off your clothes and come in. The blanket will get wet."
With a rough touch, the belt fell off with a thud. White ankles were revealed among the clothes that were piling up on the floor one by one. The ankles soon disappeared into the blanket.
Watching the scene of the blanket heaving, only one thought filled Cheong-yeon's mind.
'There's no need to show me even this!'
Cheong-yeon woke up gasping for breath. He was still shocked by the massive amount of information that had suddenly entered his head.
"I need... I need alcohol....”
He went down the stairs to the kitchen as if he was half out of his mind. It was the middle of the night, and everyone was asleep, so the inn was quiet.
In the pitch-black darkness, Cheong-yeon rummaged through the cupboard and found a bottle of alcohol. He stood there and gulped down the alcohol without a glass, and only then did he feel a little more awake.
The dream was so vivid. The sensations he felt in it remained so vividly that he could believe they were real.
For example, the two hands clasped tightly together. Or the moans he heard in his ear. Or the warmth felt from the overlapping bodies.... That... that....
"Ugh..."
Even if it was a dream, it was shocking. He, who had lived his whole life as a
heterosexual, had skinship with a male lover and received his touch... and he even liked it.
Yes, to be honest, it was very good. He acted as if he knew Cheong-yeon well, and he collapsed at his fleeting touch. Being trapped in his firm embrace and shedding tears at his caress was incredibly good.
So, not only did he witness someone else's private time, but he also felt the subtle
sensations together.
Cheong-yeon worked hard to turn his thoughts in another direction.
'Let's sort things out.'
He listed the new information he had learned in the dream. First of all, Yoo Cheong-yeon lived in a mountain somewhere, and it was cold and snowy.
'And he was gay, had a handsome and fit lover, and spent the night with him... Ah, not this!’
The scene full of intimate situations did not leave his mind. As he thought about it, he felt strange.
"Hey, you crazy bastard...."
'You seductive bastard.'
Cheong-yeon, unable to overcome the shock, ended up banging his head against the wall. Would it erase other sensations if his head hurt? Would his body cool down a bit?
Because he was completely out of his mind, he didn't notice. At this moment, a
murderous gaze was watching him in the darkness.
